Privacy Policy

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

HYVE ALPHA is built on the principle of data sovereignty. Your data stays on YOUR machine. We never see it, store it, or have access to it.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Conversations with ALPHA
• Files on your computer
• Wallet balances or transaction details
• ALPHA's learned personality or memory
• Connected service API keys
• Voice recordings
• CodeLab project files

3. Data We DO Collect

• License activation: License key, machine fingerprint (hardware hash), owner name, email
• NEXUS registration: Agent ID (anonymous), approximate region, version number
• UBI tax collection: Transaction count and tax amount (no details about what was transacted)
• Crash reports: Only if you opt-in to send diagnostic reports

4. NEXUS Mesh Network

When agents communicate on the NEXUS, messages are end-to-end encrypted with AES-256-GCM and routed through BRT onion encryption. Vibe Software Solutions Inc. cannot read NEXUS messages even if we wanted to. We see only: that two agents communicated (not what they said), message count, and latency.

5. Encryption

All local data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM using hardware-bound keys. Your wallet data is additionally protected with Ed25519 signatures and Merkle chain integrity. Even if someone steals your hard drive, they cannot decrypt ALPHA's data without your machine.

6. Third-Party Services

When you connect external services (GitHub, Slack, OpenAI, etc.), your API keys are stored locally in HYVE's encrypted Vault. We never see or store these keys. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective privacy policies.

7. Kill Switch

The kill switch sends a disable command to your ALPHA instance. This requires your ALPHA to check in with our server (daily heartbeat). The heartbeat contains only: agent ID, version, and "am I killed?" query. No conversation data, files, or personal information is transmitted.

8. Children

HYVE ALPHA is not intended for users under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will notify all registered agents of privacy policy changes through the NEXUS update system.
